Two years ago, when I was 30, I had to have a late-term abortion at 21 weeks. This was obviously hugely upsetting, but particularly because I had always been very conscientious about contraception. I had been taking the pill throughout my relationship with my boyfriend, and when I missed a period, I went straight to my doctor to have a pregnancy test. It came back negative.
I was hugely relieved. My boyfriend was going away to university, so we split up and I came off the pill. Weirdly, I was still missing periods. I returned to my doctor, who said that I had nothing to worry about – it was probably due to the hormonal changes of stopping my oral contraception.
A short while later, I met someone a few years older than me who had a child, and she confided that she had found out about her pregnancy too late to have an abortion. I did another pregnancy test then, which came back positive. I was 18 weeks along.
I was at the start of my upper sixth, I was doing my Masters, and it just seemed impossible for me to have a child. I had very supportive friends, and my ex-boyfriend came to see me and said he would help me with whatever I decided. For me though, the decision was made as soon as I heard that I was pregnant.
Next few days I waited for my parcel and it arrived with in 3 days to my doorsteps. Parcel is not very huge but it seems like something fishy. I just opened it and I found my pills wrapped in a Towel Pack.
I was extremely joyful for that and somewhat distressed too. I thanked that guy who sent me those MifeGymiso Pills from other Country.
After reading all the instructions on the leaflet I started my next day with that huge oval shaped pill which I inserted in my vagina deep into the dead end.
I was threatened that I am doing it my own and there is no doctor or my boy friend if anything could happen I may be dead. As a noob its like a pure suicide as I read many articles about online Abortion pills scam.
But luckily that guy who sent me pills texted me on Whatsapp !
He told me all the instructions again but they are not same as it was described online, He told me that every pregnancy is different and it should be dealt accordingly. So I stick upon his advice.
In a meanwhile just in 5-6 hours I was having cramps and vomiting at same time…that pain was unbearable. I was just cussing my boy friend and kept in mind that I always use latex.
After all that scenario I was bleeding like hell and 4 pads were used till the next morning. I was extracting huge mess of bloody lumps which was terrifying me alot. That I am not gonna live anymore.
I waited for 24 Hours as that guy told me not to take pill untill I ask you to do so… I was just waiting what is going with me and its over 24 hours and I am still bleeding… in a meanwhile He texted me that now you can take another pill with water.
So after taking another pill I just slept coz my body was almost dead… so much bleeding and workload made me dull and traumatic. But there is no more bleeding just 1 pad is used that night.
Next morning I took another pill in the gap of 10 hours from the previous one – this time I was bleeding again more and more just like that terrible night.
So I texted the guy that I am not feeling good and he said to me drink Juice and water so that you may piss alot. Once your medicine ejected from your body via urination than you will be alright. So I just drank some juice and it helped me least to sleep.
After that next morning I took another third pill and than fourth. With in few days I am all clear. So I thanked that guy who assisted me on Whatsapp to have a safe abortion at your home.
